Can't attack

I just started the game, played for 1 hour. But on my way to kill that slave-handler dude in the beginning my attacks stop working. I mean, the animation itself stops working, and no damage is inflicted. I left-click on the enemies and press 1, 2 and 3, but nothing happens. I've tried with all my weapons. Help?

Look at the attack bar at the bottom, did you somehow scroll to an empty set of action buttons? If not I would try logging and see if that helps.

You might have accidentally removed an action button.

If it's not the infamous hotbar roll effect as described above;

Look at the FPS bar in the bottom middle of the hotbar. If it goes into the RED you've had a lag spike and what you've described will happen.

The FPS may not be on your end, Lag Spikes from the server end are something we all have to put up with.

Just a FPS hint for your end; turn off all shadows, floating damage numbers etc... to increase the FPS on your end.
