I see, does it have a job system or is it role specific?
Graphics wise it looks like level 5's Fantasy Life, was wondering if the feel of the control was the same - if it's like SoM then I would have to assume clunky.
There are no set job classes. Even though each character can get the same weapon type, they differ in their element and animations, even what weapons they use. For a sword, Cyan's trigger (aka emotive weapon-mon) might get a classical looking broadsword while Zantis' becomes a katana. You can change what attacks they do and upgrade said moves, but it's not as intuitive as you might think. You can only do up to three moves in a combo string, and each input has two moves to pick from. But since you juggle with I think ten or so different weapons between three characters it is kind of a lot in hindsight. Just concise.
So yeah, it's clunky. The AI doesn't change weapon types on their own when controlling the other party members, so unless you are co-oping with friends you have to manually switch them up just to hurt monsters, as they can have resistances or even flat out immunities to certain weapon types. Not to mention the only way to really kill bosses is to abuse their weakness enough to stagger them for large chunks of damage.
