Anyone know how to bypass this kalypso garbage?

Agree. I wanted to play again but I'm not going to be forced to sign up for another stupid account to get spammed with ads every day. What a joke. This was a fun game that I beat a long time ago and was nostalgic to revisit, but it'll get an uninstall now.

sure it was annoying signing up for the kalypso thing and having to use their launcher but i am SO glad i did. game was super cool, and speedrun was really challenging. launcher may be trash but game was certainly not. also i have not received a single spam email from them which is a ton better than virtually every other thing i've ever signed for, all of which have insta-spammed me :)

also this was a note at the speedrun. com anna extended page -
KALYPSO ACCOUNT
Go to your Firewall settings, and create a new Outbound rule for ".../Steam/SteamApps/Common/Anna/AnnaExtended/AppData.exe" that blocks all internet connection for that application. That will remove the need to log into Kalypso every time you boot up the game.

Dont see the issue. Account takes seconds to click, and requires no real information. Use a dud email account if you must.

Either that or dont play the game and move along. It isnt going to change now.

Good of you folks to help out with this to get around it if people get trapped by this garbage. I'll give this company's games a miss until they stop treating customers so poorly but for some of these games people already have them and then it gets put in or they weren't aware and get caught out so good to know there's ways around...for now!

Unplug the internet every time you run the game, you might need a fresh install of the game where the Kalypso launcher isn't updated. You'll be prompted to enter your cd key once, and then it'll take you to the game.
