Just received an email from my buddy who bought Anna Extended Edition but can't use it due to the DRM Key already in use problem.

They have been talking recently with the devs about this who made the following statement -

"About Anna, everything about it belongs now to Kalypso Media. They completely control every aspect of it. We don't own it anymore."

Save your money people, it's over.

Well i bought it today, and i can play it so it is not dead. Maybe you should write to Calypso support and tell them about your problem.

I did years ago, they said I never bought it and will have to pay again.

No it's not! They just ask for the Account you played it first. Everything is fine for me now!

No it's not! They just ask for the Account you played it first. Everything is fine for me now!

You are spreading rubbish. Plenty of people have done this over the years and the response from kalypso (if there is any response at all) is either "You're lying" or "You will have to buy the game again". They are harvesting private information to sell to third parties. That's why the DRM forces people to make multiple email accounts.

This is is straight up lie, considering a sequel is coming out this year. Why are you like this?

Ehh, no. The sequel isn't being published by Kalypso, who have their name plastered all over Anna, its screenshots, the DRM, and the console ports. Their name is nowhere to be seen on Nascene. I haven't contacted the devs, so I don't have an official confirmation of this, but everything I've seen points to them not owning this game anymore. It's possible that the IP belongs to the devs, but Kalypso owns the rights to Anna and all of its releases. Otherwise, the last update this game has had since 2013 wouldn't just be them announcing the game on sale along with other Kalypso games.
