This is very interesting, as a topic of discussion.
By now I've been watching a bunch of YouTube gameplay videos and read some of the comments. I can't help to notice how some people seem to be focusing a little too much on the premise, thinking the game (or more specifically, I) might be too judgmental or patronizing against someone who's supposedly only 'guilty' of still living with their parents.
While I'm sure it's an unfortunately relatable premise, I'm also pretty sure the same situation in real life is mostly the result of several factors that probably have very little to do with the individual and more with the general cost of living in a modern society.
Basically, circumstances rather than choice.
However -and this is probably the gist of what I'm trying to say- "still living with his parents" is the only clear detail available to the players so far, for a very specific reason.
I would suggest to have the full picture of the story arc, before deciding how relatable Vincent's life really ends up to be.
I absolutely love this. As a father my son and I have made an agreement. Once he hits a certain age. He is outta here lol. Same rules I had to abide by when I was younger. I will buy your game day 1 because like you said, circumstances vary. It is a cool concept overall. Thank you for making this very unique game. I adore psychological horror like this. And it looks very very good.
My only hope is that the story ends up being as interesting as i think it is...
Super! Please stick with your vision. I know people probably felt personally attack with the premise of this story lol. It does hit home in this era for many. However, its a bold and unique concept that has not been explored.
I know its hard because everyone has a mic to spread their opinion. But not everyone has the passion and will to make it a game/experience to enjoy. We cannot please everybody but I very much enjoy what you have created and I look forward to the final product so I can support your vision.
