Tower! Simulator 3

Cannot click the Speech Test
I have tried all the suggested solutions for microphone issues, but when I return to the settings in the game and attempt to click the Speech Test tab, nothing happens. Could someone help me fix this and explain the issue?

Thank you

The speech test button isn't working, so cannot be clicked.
What is the exact issue you have with the microphone?

I click Ctrl to speak then it shows the message: 'Voice Recognition is Disabled, please quit the session, and turn it back on from the settings menu.' What should I do?

A couple of things you can do / check:

- has language English (United States) been installed as extra language?
- is the microphone working in Windows?
- is the microphone set as primary input device in Windows?
- could there be other devices connected that could act as a microphone?
- have you done the voice recognition training?
- do you hear a sound when pressing the Push To Talk (PTT) button and does the bar come up at the top of your screen?
- have you tried restarting (not off/on, but a restart) your computer?

I have followed everything you recommended. For example, while playing a game, when I press Ctrl, a "suppression bar" appears at the top, and I hear a sound like a radio. However, I also encounter the message: "Voice Recognition is Disabled, please quit the session, and turn it back on from the settings menu."

I have tried to perform the voice recognition training, but I can't find any button to initiate the training. My headset settings are all functioning properly, and I can hear myself speaking normally. There is also only one device enabled with the allow option.

I would like to know if there are any other solutions to fix this issue.

Voice Recognition can be enabled under "Settings" then 'Game' tab and there you will find the second option named 'Voice recognition control' with an "Enable" or "Disab;e" option.
See if you can enable it and if so, if it's working.
I had exactly the same issue, here is how I managed to fix it:

Open your taskbar search and type in 'language' - you should get a option for 'Language Settings'. Open Language Settings.

You should see 'Add Language'

Select to add the English (United States).

It will then download and install the package, this alone will not work you then need to do the following steps as well:

Once it has installed, go back to the settings and on the English (United States) there is 3 dots at the end, open language options.

You then need to also download and install the Basic Speech Recognition and the Enhanced Speech Recognition.

These take a short while to download, but install fairly rapidly.

Once these have installed Exit and restart your game. Enable Speech and the click to test button will work.

Hope this helps. This is mainly for people playing on any version of Windows that is not the US Version of Windows.
I have been trying to make it work for three hours, but I can't figure it out. I have downloaded the language package including all the speech packages. The mic is working fine in Windows and other apps, but not ingame. I can press my push to talk button but nothing is "typed in" by the game. It's just not working which is so frustrating.

Is your mic set as default input/output? The game always try to use your default devices.
Does Tower speak bridge / application is allowed access to your mic. Please reach out to us on our zendesk support desk or discord server so we can assist you with these steps to check and close out why it is picking up your voice. Inside the game settings you can try changing the communication port. Just select any other port.
If the microphone is still giving you troubles, it's possible that your D drive needs administrator rights. I understand you are the admin of your own computer, but sometimes a drive can have it restricted. You can check by right clicking the drive, select properties, then choose the security tab. In this window, make sure all checkmarks are set to Allow.
