Voice Recognition error

Whenever I load into the game i get greeted with a message saying that there is a voice recognition error, if I try to speak it doesn't let me and when i click L control to activate my mic nothing happens.

My microphone works fine and i have tested it in other applications. I have tried literally everything such as: using a different mic, uninstalling the game and I have the English voice package installed. I have run out of ideas, can anyone help?

I have the same problem here:
I changed my Swedish language settings to English US and now finally my headset/mike works but there is something wrong in the interpretation.'
I can call up "FieldAir4873" on ground and say "FieldAir4873 cleared for pushback" and my first words appear in the Command view, but when I release the tab button, my text is altered to "go around" , "hold short" or something else completely wrong!
The lady replies either with "Say again" or "Negative"..
It seems like my speach goes in but the output is way off..
What to do?

And as instructions say..how can you press Tab with the left mouse button????

TS3 only works when using the exact phrases, otherwise things will happen that you described. This will probably get changed with the next update (release date is still to be announced) but until then you have to use the exact phrases or things will fail. To get the mentioned plane cleared of pushback, you have to use: FieldAir4873 pushback approved expect runway [runway nbr]

In case the mentioned plane is a small airplane, you can get the response that they don't need a pushback truck. Then you have to use: FieldAir4873 approved expect runway [runway nbr]

Hahaha, that's clearly an error in the instructions, as TAB is a key that can't be held with a mouse button.

I have unisnstalled the whole Tower 3 program now, reinstalled it and hoping to get their radio voices back.. Not sure if I can use my Swedish keyboard and English US voice pack simultaneously but will try. I heard the radio comm's at first when I had SWE keyboard..

Finally it all seems to work perfectly and I am very happy today!
The combination of SWE keyboard and US English voice pack made me able to hear the a/c's radio comms and my own orders seems to work fine!
