Just open the Nvidia system settings, go to Manage 3D settings > Program Settings, select/add the Tower! Simulator 3.exe and set the Max Frame Rate to whatever suits your monitor. Alternatively, you can also enable vsync in the same menu if you encounter screen tearing. Either way, your GPU will thank you.
Indeed that will probably work. I realized that some time after I got my refund.
But I decided the game was not good enough to buy it again.
I don't like the look and feel and howto move around/resize the screens across multiple monitors etc..
Also the "walking around" in the control tower has ZERO added value...
When you are controlling many airplanes there really is no time at all to walk around...
Yeah, I'm not too big on the 3D Tower environment either, mostly because the tower screens are extremely blurry when you're not fully zoomed in on them. I just use the classic outside cam with 2D screens, although that's a bit difficult at times since I only have a single monitor.
After I got everything to work decently well, which in my case luckily didn't take much effort, I'm having a pretty good time with it. Voice recognition works well for me and if I don't like something there's quite a few config files to play with.
But for the price point, especially if you also want real planes and airlines, and with all the little bugs and issues it's hard to recommend unless you're really into ATC.
