Plane Stuck at KRDU Gate C21

KRDU Morning shift, Gate C21 Flight AAL848, Runway 23R expectet. Pushback is ok, then Command "Runway 23R", Plane is stuck.

Did he call for taxi before you gave him instructions? I had a SWA get stuck turning off 23R later that morning because I told him to "follow company" but the other SWA was too far down C, so he said "negative" and wouldn't move again. Had to delete. I was wondering if interrupting before the hold short point was what did it, or maybe something similar for you.

This is a known issue for gate C21 at KRDU. When the plane is ready taxi, just give the "Continue Taxi" command and the plane will make its way to the assigned runway. Just a little bug that will be fixed I'm sure.

Any buggy planes can just be deleted with the 'delete' button in the right edge of the command text screen. It's a way to work around the bugs for right now.

I had to delete a Skywest at KLAX after it "slid" off the taxiway and got stuck on the grass. lol

As far as I can tell it counts as a fatal error, though. Maybe not for scoring, but you'll start accumulating them on your stats.

I can’t pass this scenario because I had to delete the plane since it got stuck. It does count towards points because it counts as a fatal error and you have to pass scenario with no fatal errors to complete it.

Yeah I'm guessing that's a bug that needs fixing since on the front page there's a space in stats for Planes Deleted, mine is currently at 0 but I have around a dozen "fatal errors".

Gave that plane the runway command, and told the second, also a Magic, to 'follow company' and he repeated. From there, he just stayed there. I gave him a 'continue taxi' which he repeated, and he continued to sit. I finally had to delete him, which caused me a fatal error.

What is the exact command you have given to that second plane?
You have to state a runway before using the follow company command.
Example: MAX3971 runway 36 follow company

If you haven't given it any runway, it won't move as it has no runway to go to.

I will try adding the runway number next time it comes up. The airplane they were to follow already had the runway number and proceeding with the taxi.

The 'follow company' just does not work. I had them push back with another plane in front of them, gave the other plane taxi instructions, then added the runway before the follow company. They just sat there. Tried just a taxi instruction, continue taxi and even cleared for takeoff and they just sat. All of the instructions were repeated and when I did the cleared for takeoff the landing lights came on. I exited the game rather than getting another fatal error by deleting them.

Both times this has happened was same airline company. First time Magic and second time Value.

I checked the Discord and others are reporting this as well. I’ll stop using this for now and thanks for the help.
