Why cut the multiplayer?

if that is true, then this is actualy bad. there are monsters witch u only get by playing multiplayer. even if it is just the auto battle.
while these monster may not be any good, one has a very usefull skill set to inherit to other monsters

Unfortunately it's true that there is no multiplayer, as it is explicitly written on the store page.

Maybe because it would be dead within a month. Although would be nice if they had another way to get the unique monsters.

No real time multiplayer battle but they have this:
- Test Your Might in Quickfire Contests
Register your team for the network mode Quickfire Contests to participate in automated battles against the party data of 30 other players. Once a day you can earn stat-boosting items as a prize, and the monsters from any team you defeat will be added to your roster (up to rank B monsters only).
Similar to monster rancher i guess.

Oh, so the auto battle still goes.
Means the Monsters u get by online battle are still in it.

And it is not only Rank B Monsters. It's just an example.
There are seasons where the rules change
Could also be something like "only Slimes, up to A Rank"

Unfortunately bikanel is right ;-;. The sales are to low, so it's just not worth it to have multiplayer.
