I was really amazed when I stumbled upon Winter Survival because I really love survival games. After trying the Prologue for some time I've come to the conclusion that it really has potential but it's not fun playing in its current state. The environment is way to aggressive, i. e. there's a deadly creature lurking around each corner. I'd love to see the game's focus shifted to survival in a hostile nature rather than having to deal with predators all the time. Maybe a setting to make the density of hostile creatures tunable would suit a bigger number of players.

I agree. But this is prologue. Maybe the game come with 4-5 levels of difficulty, from peaceful (no wild animals) to impossible.
