1. It's hard to say whether its worth getting to support the Devs. I'd like to imagine buying the game and DLC helps them produce better or faster content, but who knows. They've done alright so far so I have no reason to doubt them.
2. Absolutely get it for the guide if the guide doesn't get published elsewhere, the guide gives you instructions on how to unlock individual scenes, some of the steps are kinda vague atm but I suspect the guide may get polished as more scenes are added. Even if it isn't it comes with a Gallery Unlocker to.
3. The cheats are just 'press this button' get 1000g. It's not particularly hard to farm gold, especially since you can farm enemies in the desert without your parasite infection increasing, you can easily make 2-3k every 5 minutes just 1 shotting them with whirlwind.
When you enter the cheat listed on the top of the notepad document in the options menu, a button appears on the top right of your screen in the main game. Again though, the cheat is barely helpful. I haven't used the gallery unlocker since I've unlocked all the scenes myself manually already so I can't help you there.
Edit: Maybe it just unlocks the scenes viewable at the witch in the main game? I don't imagine it would add a new gallery menu or anything but i could very well be wrong.
Edit Edit: The cheat menu has to be unlocked while in an active game, If you save and reload the game the cheat menu closes.
When used in combat. The cheat code should also have an 'auto-win' fight button that appears.
Strongly agree, I'm getting Cursed Lands by Winter Wolves vibes from Parasite Black, that one game they released that combined Loren Amazon princess with a bunch of their standalone game characters into 1 giant map.
I've really been enjoying the base game, cheats or not.
The most up to date guide anywhere online is for patch 0.2 and is missing a ton of content. The guide itself aside, the cheat DLC comes with a gallery unlocker to instantly unlock any scenes you might have missed or are to lazy to unlock yourself.
I have no strong feelings for or against the cheats part of the DLC, other than that I wish there was a wider variety of them, but for anyone genuinely interested in cheating, you can't do so without the paid DLC.
Saveeditonline says "Your RenPy version have some save protection" and it prevents you from viewing all the available variables you might be able to change, you can't do anything other than change characters stat values. Even after applying the fix that Saveeditonline suggests will bypass this, it is still protected.
The developer console is also locked regardless of if you change the access value to true in the games files.
