PSN login is NOT a requirement to play the game!

Like 80% of the negative reviews I read are about all criticizing ther PSN login requirement.
It's not a requirement, it's a skippable step. You can play the game without signing into PSN...

i think you can only use some of the dualshock stuff without a psn account, like the dont move stuff. saw someone have issue with it cause they didnt log in.

oh ok, I didn't know of this issue, I created an account just to share my game data, so I did sign in, however I do play with mouse and keyboard.

Posting something like this, you should in all fairness probably also mention a) how it works, because not everyone might know this or be savvy enough to figure it out by themselves, and b) that it disables achievements, because Steam won't recognize the game as active.

Yes you are right, sometimes I act impulsively. There is a skip login button somewhere near the bottom of the screen that says skip this step or something, don't remember exactly.

Great news! One problem though: I live in a country where PSN is not available, so I can't even see the store page. SURE SOUNDS LIKE AN ISSUE TO ME

What would be the point in claiming there isn't a "skip login" button if there really is one?!

THERE IS NO "SKIP LOGIN" BUTTON!

There is some text and one single solitary single button on a black background that opens up a PSN login window with still NO OPTION TO SKIP IT, it just asks for you login details and that's it!

I was looking as carefully as I could for any sort of "skip login" button of some kind, I pressed every button I could on my controller and my keyboard to see if anything would skip the login bit there was nothing!

I live in a country where PSN is not available either, yet I was able to create an account. However if you forget the password is like one time use only, because, I guess, the PSN site, since it's not supported in my country gives me an invalid connection error if I try to reset my password, and doesn't let me through the Date of Birth verification step either, still a connection problem.

I wanted to log out of PSN to check again, but I guess you can only do this in the playstation overlay, but when I click on that absolutely nothing happens.
I am 100% sure there was an option cause I was just about to skip the PSN login, until I read a warning that I won't be able to send my game data for statistics and improving the game if I don't sign in... So I said ok I'll sign in, I already have a PSN account, but I was unable to log in with that one, so I made a new one, and I was finally able to log in.

But I also know there might be different options on the screen, like that guy that didn't have the brigntness option in this game and he sent me a screenshot, and I sent him a screenshot of the brightness option being there. Also I'm not the only one saying you can skip the PSN login process, if you read the forums.
So... that's weird.

Pirate. Their own fault they won't sell you the game, its a loss on their end; not yours.

The login cannot be skipped in my region. People claiming otherwise probably already linked their steam and PSN account in another Sony game.

Yes I did have an account from other games, but as I said, I was unable to remember (or it didn't work) and I couldn't retrieve my password, I created a new account, I had to confirm it via the newly entered email address, but I remeber it took me like 10 minutes to be finally able to log into the PSN in the game. And my country doesn't even support PSN.

on the steam store page it shows clear that
PlayStation Network Account required, that is why most people see it and move on to another game instead
if sony put psn acct is optional on store page instead of requirement it would get people to buy it more

Well, if it wasn't required, why would it say it is? "Requires 3rd-Party Account"

It should say "optional" right? and if it's a step you can skip, why didn't you take a screenshot to show it?
