Stuck on chapter 9 with mike.

I got stuck with Mike at the sanatorium. After running away from some wendigos i got stuck in an area (U can find there a chessgame and Mike´s death totem). A cinematic is supposed to happen at that place, but it wont trigger. Im at a death-end. I've already restarted and done everything i could think off to try and trigger the cinematic. Im almost at the end of the game and its a bit frustating having to reset the whole game to continue playing... Any help or ideas on how to fix it??

Stuck at the same place! Tried to verify the files and re-installed the game but still stuck. Hope they fix it soon

it’s so annoying too because it’s so close to the end like you said i’m so unsure what to do whether this will be patched or not i’m glad im not the only one dealing with this

Just happened to me mid stream and this is my first time playing. Not super jazzed atm

trying to think of how to explain.

after that room with the chessboard, theres another area you need to enter then the scene should turn on with another wendigo coming after you. and u needing to run again.

sorry if im explaining it wrong, but i know for myself its not bugged since i've just finished the game 3 more times working on all my achievements.

The next area is a long hallway lined with cells. Execute each QTE to avoid the Wendigo arms that reach out and shoot any that attack. At the end of the hall, Mike will reach a door he can’t unlock. Turn and shoot the pursuing Wendigo. Then roll the barrel filled with flammable liquid. Roll it toward the, now two, Wendigos and shoot it. After the explosion, you are given a breather and control over Mike.


Lock the door and walk up the set of stairs. At the top is a set of rooms. It may feel like a maze, but each room has one exit. Follow the twisty trail until another Wendigo appears! Run and shoot the lock off a door. Enter and barricade the door. Barricading the door will keep both Mike and the wolf safe. Mike will hop down a hole and the wolf will go its own way.

Down in the next room, Mike will try breaking down the door. A Wendigo will attack. Shoot the monster instead of the barrels. Another Wendigo will appear. Like before, shoot it instead of the barrels. The first beast will lunge at Mike and the game will cut to the next portion of the chapter.
