Prego.
I don't know why the FBI should be involved in your subconscious, but the point is that this practice forces anyone who buys the game to register, not even the worst Samsung campaigns have gone that far to make you use/activate one of their appliances, for what? To bring PC gamers closer to the console? And considering that Sony servers are also the ones with the highest data breach records, how can it guarantee the confidentiality of data of minors and adults? I chose Valve because it is a private company and I trust the ethical line they lead, while I have no confidence in voluntarily handing over my documents and data to companies that have shareholders with intentions not inclined to the consumer.
actually it is mandatory, you can only choose the data volume, it would also be nice to be able to analyze them, but hopefully they are just "technical data of the game"
it seems we are complaining, and you can't continue with this nihilistic attitude about it, you should actually be happy if maybe these bad practices of data exchange between agencies and multinationals ends, right?
it is, and it will be in the next games too..
I stated it, and we are in general discussions
if what I wrote is a waste of time, think about how much time you have already wasted
thank you for calling my words virtuous, I appreciate it.
I just want to remember how Ubisoft is being investigated for tracking its users' behavior and how it systematically sells this data to other companies that I won't name, the fact that they've reached a disgusting level, the way they monetize as much as possible every aspect of IT at their disposal, how they treat art and free expression with condescension, how they promote forced "DEI" both in content and form and how it's also arrogant when out of context, how they increasingly treat the quality of the software or the content of their games marginally to save on every front (just like a tomato sauce company), how they now use players as beta testers at the launch of their games, how it's possible that shareholders go against the interests of retaining users of their investments, chasing them away in this way, and we can see it like when certain individuals started to lead Blizzard, transforming something beautiful and loved into something gray, annoying and treated with indifference..
we have already seen this predatory system hunting for users practiced before, by microsoft at least 20 years ago, by ubisoft, ea, epic.. and it is a mistake to force an account especially for singleplayer/offline material, and it further puts people's digital identity at risk, for what? for having chosen to play a video game? for having installed windows home edition? for turning on my new household appliance?
It's an 18 rated game, no minor should be playing it. By law, when you chose limited data, no personal data can be shared, just very basic game data, or ANY company can be given a hefty fine.
