cant search totem

in chapter 2 when we're playing as sam, we find a guidance totem upstairs and it's unsearchable for some reason. i searched it for like two minutes straight, and i couldn't find the spot. does anyone else had this problem? in my first playthrough it was fine, but the second time it won't work

edit: i just looked up the problem on google and found a reddit post - apparently iits the same guidance totem you can find as chris when he gets the deodorant!
