How does this game handle the "don't move" segments on PC?

Is it just an option now that players aren't naturally assumed to be holding a controller? And I'm assuming if you do choose to use a controller it's basically the same as PS4? I felt that it was a bit too sensitive before and I kind of hope it was slightly tweaked or that we have an option to toggle it off.

basically, you need to keep the capsule-shape thing within the borders. it will randomly jet outside of the borders and you need to use WASD or motion controls to get it back in.
