crs-video.exe added to quarantine

Hello!

I'm downloading the game now and as I was downloading the crs-video.exe file in the game folder got detected as a virus.
"\Bates\Binaries\Win64\crs-video.exe is infected with Gen:Variant.Lazy.532972"

I'm using Bitdefender.

Now, it might be a false positive but I just want to let devs know that this is an issue and should be investigated. Even if it's a false positive, it should be reported to the AV company as "false positive" to avoid future detections if it's actually a false positive.

Lol wtf Sony ports are awful. Tripping AV shouldn’t be acceptable for a game like this sponsored by a big Corp.

This game isnt a port lol....its rebuilt from ground up in a new engine lol

How did you get it to work?? I tried disabling BitDefender, re installing, same problem.
Tried to recover the file it blocked, still same problem.
Even after restarting, verifying files

Got this too. Went to the download folder and saw the game's exe and folder was called Bates and was listed as created by Epic Games. All seems a bit suss. Might hold off downloading this for a while.

I had the same issue; make an exception in your antivirus and restore the file—the game loads without any problems after that.

After i did that, the game installation halted right at the end.
I had to pause Bitdefender, reboot the system and resume. Luckily, the files were already all there and took less than a second to complete. I've added this exception before re-enabling Bitdefender
