Why has Soundtrack been changed?

The original songs are far better than some EDM style songs that ruin the whole horror atmosphere.
Was the Dev team unable to get license for the old songs or why did they swap horror atmosphere to EDM remixes?

That doesn't make any sense, why not just reuse the original score? Jason Graves doesn't need to do anything other than have a cool name.

they'd probably need to get permission from him to use his music.

The main theme of the OG is much better imo, so quite a downgrade there. But maybe they needed to replace it because of license reasons, would make the most sense. If they only did it to justify a remake then worst decision ever.

I wasn't that upset about O'Death missing, but them changing Jess's phone songs made me sad. The new ones suck.
