sorry but that's just the reality of the situation, a vast majority of people are just going to make a PSN account if it means they can play Bloodborne on PC (or Ragnarok/Until Dawn for that matter).

And you know why? Because Sony could withdraw PSN account from any of the 60 countries still left at any time thus you lose acces to something you payed for. Some are aware of it and will not buy any PSN requiremtn PC port from now on.

Yes I realize. But that's why If I can buy the same game on steam and GOG I always choose GOG. Now I wish I haven't payed for steam versions of Sony games instead buy them on GOG but what's done is done. At least on GOG Sony will not be able to force PSN. Because sure as hell they can't force me to create third party acccount and link it to steam. Where is Valve btw in all of this drama?. If it isn't hostile takeover then I don't know what is.

Valve gets 30% from every license they sell, they would be silly to exclude studios like the ones pushing third-party launchers, it isn't their issue and on average consumers would rather deal with the inconvenience if it means they can play the game.

If Bloodborne required a PSN account on the PC, then I'd just continue to play it on the PS4, like I've done for years, and it would be the only From title on Steam that I wouldn't buy. I'm not going to ask permission to play something that I'm expected to pay for.

Yes they will because unless you create a PSN account they lock you out of even starting any part of the game,
