Release date expectations?

When do you guys expect the release to happen? October? Or earlier? How close will it be with Dark Pictures Season 2 start? And why do you guys expect that releaseframe?

Yes, interested parties would like to know. Not been able to find anything concrete myself though.

I would say sooner, probably May or June. They've probably been working on the remake for a while and considering the story, mocap, animations, interactions, endings, voice acting and characters are done already I don't see this needing to be in development for an awful long time. Still, it could be October for a Halloween release if they really wanted to push it out that far but seems a bit odd to announce a remake like this almost ten months before release.

I'd say they have probably scaled back Dark Pictures S2 after The Devil In Me. Don't think that did particularly well. I certainly did not like it at all what with all the heavy handed social media personalities. It was really irritating to have to listen to those characters. If it does release I hope it's a hammy Jason X type slasher/horror... but then... if they did something like Alien that would be a unique experience I'm sure... although the trailer did make it out as if the crew was infected and went crazy. Maybe it's zombies in space! ha.

I'd honestly like another The Quarry style game. That game was great. I was a naysayer before I played it because the trailer was pretty crap but the game itself was damn good.

Until Dawn remake isn't by supermassive so at least that won't affect the release date of casting of frank stone and directive 8020. They posted a little tiny hint about it on twitter recently but I'm betting it's releasing late 2024. Like October/November based on previous games. And my guess for casting of frank stone is either May or summer based on the quarry release date
