Supermassive had no part in this remaster. They don't have any rights to the game.
I guess that's an absolute win from Sony then to finally port this thing over that we've been asking Supermassive for, ever since the first Dark Pictures game.
Supermassive never really owned the rights. Sony has always owned the IP outright.
Ballistic Moon consists of developers that were apart of SG who worked on Until Dawn. So it makes sense for them to do this port. As they were acquired by SONY just last year I believe.
