[SOLVED] Game crash on start up

I just bought the game.. it crashes on the start up.. it shows me a white small screen on the top left side of my pc screen then it just wont open.. keep minimizing ..

How did you fix that? I am having exactly the same problem. The game doesn't start, nothing happens. Forcing it to start up in 640x480 from compatibility mode makes the screen go black and then back to windows without a change.

I have this same problem I've tried turning down the resolution and it's still not letting me play. What a waste of four bucks.

What helped me was described in another post:
Browse to the directory where W:A was installed (Default is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Worms Armageddon\" ), from there open the Tweaks directory and run the Renderer_Direct3D_9_Software_Palette registry script.

Before this, game was not able to start, black screen, then crash. Now it works like a charm :)

Also, it appears that after new NVidia drivers were installed, game started to throw error on startup, to fix, I again applied the Registry fix described above. Game works!
