Slow Motion bugged

When I press s for slow motion replay it stops and I need to keep s down to continue. I remember long ago when I played this game when you pressed s it did the replay in slow motion and when you press it again it removed the slow.

Does anyone know about this and if it is the steam version causing this or if it is a windows thing?

S was changed to proceed frame-by-frame in an update of the game. Speed controls are now different:

• S - pause playback / advance one frame. (introduced in v3.6.19.17)
  
• 1–9 - set playback speed (to 1×,1.5×,2×,3×,4×,6×,8×,12×,16× respectively). (introduced in v3.6.19.7)
  
• 0 + 1–9 - set faster playback speed (24×,32×,48×,64×,96×,128×,192×,256×,384× respectively). (introduced in v3.6.19.7)
  
• Shift + 1–7 - set slow-motion playback speed (to 1×,⅔×,½×,⅓×,¼×,1/6×,1/8× respectively). (introduced in v3.6.19.7)

Also every game you play is saved to replay files, and these files can be accessed from User\Games under the installation directory of your game (if by default Steam didn't associate .WAgame files with the game, you'll need to do it).
The same keyboard controls, and even more (M for bookmarks, R for restarting from start or from a bookmark, Space for skipping to the next turn) are available in replay files.
