Trouble with WormNET

I recently bought this game for myself and a few friends, but one of them is having trouble, upon trying to join WormNET, the "Connecting to WormNET" stays on screen and doesn't go away, but clicking it bring up a "Working" text box, but after a few seconds, nothing, none of the servers are appearing and he's stuck on an empty server screen, this isn't a problem for anyone else other than this one friend, and the snooper website doesnt' work either, not allowing him to join through it, and when he tries to chat, a prompt appears saying "Service Temporarily unavailable"
We've been trying to sort it out for almost an hour, and we've got no clue on what to do

did he try disabling firewalls / antiviruses? also maybe giving the game admin privs just in case

Yeah we've tried all that, disabling firewall, running as admin, we have no clue what the issue is

https://worms2d.info/Recording_a_packet_log that might help find the culprit but it might take some work. im guessing its something to do with the router but no idea sorry

It can be for a number of factors. Sometimes (usually in Poland) ISPs may block port 6667, needed for the WormNET chat lobby.
In order to join games from the Web Snooper, you need to register URL and file associations with the game. Unfortunately that's not done by Steam automatically. You have to run "WA.exe /register" in an elevated command prompt from the game's directory to do that.
