Online Co-op vs AI
I can't find a solid answer. With Armageddon or others is it possible to play as a team in an online game with a friend and kill a bot team?

It is not possible in Worms Armageddon. I'm not sure about other games, but I doubt they offer that capability.

team17 will never be thinking about it anymore unless they add it into their newest games... it's not Team17 who is currently supporting the game.

what do you mean by ''it's not Team17 who is currently supporting the game''? Team17 still patches the game, maybe they can add this feature in a patch.

What he means is that technically, it's two volunteer programmers from the community who have been working on WA updates since 2002, Team17 have only been releasing them. So if this functionality does get added eventually (it's planned afaik), it'll more than likely be them implementing it.

no, it's not Team17 who is patching the game. It's two external programmers maintaining the game for absolutely no profit. Team17 made no patches since 3.0 at all, all Team17 did is putting the latest released version on Steam, and all the money also goes to Team17, as shocking as it sounds.

...but currently steam version is 3.7.2.2 and standalone update for CD release is 3.7.2.1 - what's the difference between'em except that all wormkit modules are working with my CD release but with steam version most modules just fail to load?

This thread is 6 years old. Team17 released a patch 3.7.2.2 in 2018 that includes a minor Win10 fix. If you want better wormkit compatibility, you can install 3.7.2.1 using the link above.

Online co-op vs AI has been implemented for the upcoming 3.8.0.0 update.

Yes, old thread but the info it brings is still up-to-date.

Thanks a lot for the information - I didn't know there is a steam version downgrader.

Best regards.
