Worms Armageddon

I have the original CD and I would still buy this
As the original game requires the CD to be inserted, having the freedom to play on any computer without the CD would be worth the price. This is still my favorite multiplayer game.

Dude you're still living in 2000. Create a CD image with Daemon Tools Lite (free download) and play the game with that. Not only does the CD not have to be inserted, but the game runs way faster. WA has no copy protection either so you will have no issues.

On top of that, the CD version is way better than the Steam version, because ProjectX is not going to be compatible with Steam any time soon. ProjectX is a 3rd party hack that adds some 60+ new weaps and utilities and new options, game modes and other goodies to the game.

I always had trouble mounting CD's, usually BSOD when I try. I haven't tried recently.

But thanks.

huh? on Windows 8 you can mount iso natively without any tools, just by clicking on the file.
what can be the trouble

Pfftt who needs windows 8, just install daemon tools. I've never seen it BSOD a computer when you mounted something.

Mounting CD still?wake up,the way you do is like playing a cracked game,then why don't you just downlaod a no-cd patch or crack file if you just expect to play on any pc you use

Because these are often poorly-written by Russians and you generally have to rely on said Russians producing another version each time there is a new update. In addition, no CD cracks are not supported by Deadcode and CyberShadow whereas mounting ISOs is supported. So, in conclusion:

* You get updates faster
* You get support from the developers
* You don't put your computer in the hands of another untrusted person.

Hi all, Worms Armageddon is now available to purchase from Steam. For more information please see: http://steamcommunity.com/app/217200/discussions/0/810919057075215750/

Alternatively, if you've already got the CD version, just to let you know that you can download version 3.7.2.1 from the Team17 FTP server[http//ftp].
