On top of that, the CD version is way better than the Steam version, because ProjectX is not going to be compatible with Steam any time soon. ProjectX is a 3rd party hack that adds some 60+ new weaps and utilities and new options, game modes and other goodies to the game.

what can be the trouble
Pfftt who needs windows 8, just install daemon tools. I've never seen it BSOD a computer when you mounted something.
