if you want arbitrarily-sized, but at the same time vanilla-looking generated maps, this is the best tool to generate the map for Intermediate as well as lots of other schemes that uses the WA's default landscape themes.

Apart from that, there really isn't anything more suitable than a new random map each time for default style ground schemes. You will in the end most likely lean toward that option as well, but until then, at least keep it in mind.
