Community made Maps and Voice packs (listing)
Okay, so, it's been almost 10 years since I played worms armageddon. I was suddenly overjoyed to find it on steam and playable on the latest version of windows. However, when I was a kid playing it I had some great custom voice packs (like space balls, simpsons, garfield...etc). Sadly they seem to have been lost in time.

I had custom maps too, some real fun ones...now the search for such things has begun again! If you know a site that hosts voices or sound packs post em so we can find em.

Who I've found so far:

Maps -- http://www.wmdb.org/

Voices & Maps -- http://www.tus-wa.com/files/

Sadly neither have my belowed space balls voice pack. If you come across one somewhere please let me know.

Alternatively if you don't want to download the whole thing, here's just the space balls one, enjoy: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/3566785/Space%20Balls.rar

How do I get the 1.7 GB file to work in the game? I tried copying it into User/Speech, but it isn't the same filetype as the other files in that folder. Do I need to convert it into another filetype? It's listed as File for the filetype. (BTW, I unzipped the downloaded file and the unzipped file is listed as File for the filetype.)

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

The 1.7 gig file is an archive. If you don't have something that can open it, try 7zip or winrar. Once you've opened the file and can see the multiple voice folders that are archived, simply extract all those folders to your worms speech folder and it should work.

7zip archiving tool -- www.7-zip.org

Be aware, some of the voice files weren't the greatest quality, some didn't make sense at all, there were duplicates and a few were just plain bad...but, I think it's a pretty good archive of every voice set I'd ever seen in the life of the game.

Ok, I got it to show the folders by renaming it to a .rar file and then unzipping it again. Thanks for the help, I really appreciate it.

Thanks.

Glad to help. I highly recommend checking out the army of darkness file (called AOD). It's pretty good and high quality. Space balls is a classic, the cartman and south park ones are pretty entertaining too.
