Is this local coop? Can I play versus a friend on same screen?
one keyboard one gamepad..

the game is turn based so you dont really need a gamepad. not even sure if you can use one unless you use third party sofware or something

as in one person on keyboard other controller playing on the same pc? Because I'm trying to set it up and cant figure it out. I have a generic xbox controller.

as i said on my first reply, im not sure if gamepads work with this game naturally
since its turn based you could both use a keyboard just fine

I tried to set up versus but not sure whats going on, do you know the settings for 1vs1 or is it only local coop against other people online.. I'm looking for specific information on how to set up local coop. Thanks for any help.

just select the top option to the right (the one with 2 worms on each side of a computer)
there you just put as many human/ AI teams as you want

you have to select AI teams. if there are none just create them. its not that hard..

A tad late, but you can play a "hot seat" game by simply adding in two or more human-controlled teams, and as many computer-controlled teams as you want. Make sure every team has a different colour, like so:

You only need the one keyboard (no gamepad support that I know of, sorry), all you have to do is switch seats or move over so your friend can use the keyboard when it's his own turn. Or, you know, mash the spacebar to screw up his turn, if you're evil.

You can change the amount of grace time you get to switch over in the game options, by changing this option: http://i.imgur.com/sW8tEGt.png
