...but I do I need to unlock them? If so, how and how many "cheats" are available?
I think there are a total of thirteen "cheats" to unlock (although they're more like additional features to enhance gameplay), and they can be used in multiplayer matches (not single-player).
See, now I have a good reason to play single player.
Personally, I find the single player of this game boring and dry, and here is a big difference between Armageddon and Worms World Party. "Blood Mode" and other such enhancements were available right away with "Wormpot" which you could use online.

Thanks for this, I used it and made a pretty sweet gamestyle.
I did not have to download this file myself, maybe I had it already.
Also, only copying the file was not enough, you had to register it, and that had to be done using a 32-bit regsvr on 64-bit systems, in a separate dir.
