Interesting, but way too retro a process to setup no doubt for most players.

well yes the ideal way is to just host yourself lol

I found a way to to change Worm Placement and other settings by configuring it, saving the scheme and uploading to the server. Although it would be nice to have a command to change that easily.

But I am mostly concerned about the Ice Cube and other non-accessible weapons. I need to know how do implement that via commands. If any of you can get to that knowledge and share with us, it would be much appreciated! :)

!ammo freeze inf = infinite ice cubes
!ammo freeze 5 = 5 ice cubes

etc

Is that it? !ammo "name of the weapon that shows on inventory" ? Do you know how I can find a list of the weapons?
Obn3g0n Nov 12, 2014 @ 1:44pm
Yes, that's it.

http://worms2d.info/Weapons
Click "show" to display the text listing of weapons.

You don't have to write the whole weapon name. Usually the first word or even first few letters is enough.

Eg. "!ammo free 4" sets ammo of Freeze to 4
and "!ammo fren 4" sets ammo of French Sheep Strike to 4
and "!ammo pn 4" (or "!ammo pneumatic drill 4" or "!ammo drill 4" etc, sets ammo of Pneumatic Drill to 4.

Basically it's pretty flexible and easy to set the weapon you want, once familiar with HostingBuddy.

You can also set crate probability, delay, and power the same way.
Eg.
"!power banana 5" = power level 5
"!delay banana 5" = delay of 5 turns before banana bomb is available
"!crate banana 0" = bananas will not appear in the crates.

You can upload your scheme to http://wsdb.fullwormage.com/ and then use the "!wsdb ###"command, (number given by the wsdb website after uploading), and Hostingbuddy will load your scheme directly. That saves you from having to manually configure everything every time you host.

For more information and commands type "!help" in the game lobby or hosting screen, or for even more detail see here: http://worms2d.info/HostingBuddy

Nice! Thanks for the list. But on the uploading thing, you can't upload a scheme with the blocked weapons 'cause the commands only work on HostingBuddy and the scheme can only be uploaded via offline saving scheme mode. I guess it only can be added to the game manually every time. Am I correct?

Not exactly. The best way to create schemes, especially ones that are complicated or have super weapons, is with the program SchemeEddy.

http://worms2d.info/SchemeEddy

Alternatively you can use TeamED to unlock the weapon options (as well as any other unlockable options such as cheats) for WAs built-in scheme editor.

Be very careful with the crate and power values, as they cannot be applied to super weapons[worms2d.info], they're ignored if attempted to be set. Super weapons in the game have hardcoded values of crate probability and power. Whatever editor is telling you otherwise, is lying. Setting these values to nonzero will result in compatibility issues, as, since they're unused by the game, mods use that opportunity to provide some extensions to the game via those values. There's quite a bunch of "dirty" schemes with junk values created by incompetent scheme editors.
HostingBuddy seems to allow setting these values, but, as usual, don't do that. Check the link above to see which weapons are affected. Select Worm is also a "semi super weapon", it will always drop regardless of the "super weapons on" setting, and its probability can't be changed.

You are probably adding too many worms and the gane toggles on manual placement because there is not enough space for them to spawn on the map.
You can generate bigger maps by using the !mapgen command, or use custom maps from WMDB.org via the !wmdb command.
