Any way to play Armageddon with Worms 2 background music?
I really love the Worms 2 soundtrack and wish I could play Armageddon with it but the sound files aren't the same. Does anyone know of a way to play Armageddon with Worms 2 music? Thanks.

in-game music streams are located in DATA\Streams. there are 11 in-game music files + 2 instant-death loops, which you will need to replace. It has to be in WAV (PCM) format of any quality (44100 KHz and below will work), though not sure if there's any limit for quality higher than that. the PC version of Worms Armageddon uses lower-quality streams due to the CD disk space constraints back in 1999. Console editions of the game include finest-quality streams for the game.

You think this have been updated with the console version?

Thanks! I wasn't sure about converting the Worms 2 BGM since it is in the OGG format but I found a program called FreeRIP that converted it directly to WAV. I then found the tracks I wanted (only seven so I had to duplicate a few tracks), changed the file names and put them in the Armageddon folder. And it worked!

Not "updated"... it's just that the console version was lighter so it allowed the higher-quality tracks to fit on the CD (which can be up to ~700MB), as opposed to the PC version.

I have transferred all Worms Open Warfare 2 themes from the PSP to the PC and converted them to .wav
It works fine, so should be possible for Worms 2: Armageddon as well
