Worms Armageddon

Worms Armageddon

I can't uninstall the game.
This game has been running in the background for 911 hours, because I haven't used my laptop since I installed the game. Yesterday I decided I wanted to see if Divinity: Original Sin would work on this laptop, and noticed that Worms Armageddon was on in the taskbar, and promptly turned it off. Later, it came back, so I turned it off again. Tonight I tried to get rid of it for good, but Steam ran into an error when trying to uninstall it. I went to the files directly and attempted to uninstall, but 4 files were left over, because they were still running. However, the game wasn't in my taskbar and I couldn't find any related background tasks in my Task Manager. So my next step was to attempt to use the command center to force delete the files that were left over, but it turns out that for some reason the command center cannot find the following files (the first 3 are application extensions and the last is the application itself):

ltfil10N.DLL
ltkrn10N.dll
steam_api.dll
WA

I then managed to force Steam to turn off through the Task Manager, thinking maybe if I turned it off and on it'd let me uninstall, but that still didn't work. It then showed me that there was an update queued (despite not showing this prior), so I tried to update it to see if that would work, and... I can't even download the update. Presumably because of all the files I yeeted.

So, I'm at a loss for what to do, because I can't find any similar issues online. I have no idea if I'm just an idiot or if there's something wrong with my application or computer, but either way, some help would be greatly appreciated.

It is a weird prob. I have zero Idea, Been using worms games for many years without issue. The only suggestion I have is trying to verify the gamer through steam and see if it re downloads the missing files,

sometimes the game itself isnt open but the steam UI (the one you see in game) is so its still using the game files. just close steam and delete all the worms files. wont be able uninstall but game will be gone so. if anything just reboot and do it without opening steam but yea very weird
