ntdll.dll error

Has anyone else experienced problems starting the game and getting ERRORLOG.txt pointing out at ntdll.dll?

Ive been trying to fix this for several hours without success

EDIT: To be clear i can make the game work with the latest patch but downgrading to 3.6.31.0 breaks it. I have the original disc also and its same problem with that and steam.

Lower version doesnt work as vanilla nor project x modded

why would you downgrade? anyways i guess you could try running it as admin to see what happens

Project X is only working 3.6.31.0, just hoped to get some extra weapons for extra nostalgy haha.

Ive done that trust me, nothing on my computer happens without admin rights.

Nope, switched 670 SLI setup to 1070 just week ago. So no help there either :/

Could it be that older version of the game is not supported with newer drivers?

hmm no idea lol. did you try switching between direct3d and directdraw? just in case

No renderer works, every time the same problem except sometimes it gives out error with this code pointing towards WA.exe

i guess you could try disabling steam overlay (and any other external uis and overlays) and disabling antiviruses and non windows firewalls if you have any. but thats just generic stuff and probably wont help but cant think of much else sorry :p

Tried that also without (in fact my steam overlay wont even work anymore??).

Also tried to run the game on my girlfriends computer which is my old one as in older drivers and hardware but not working there either on lower version.

Should i just stop trying or is there a dev around or something?
