Worms Armageddon

I can't host games normally anymore! :(
I used to be able to host online games in WA. For years. No issues. Did all the port-forwarding malarkey. Bit weird having to do that to play online in this day and age, but whatever, it worked.

Has something changed?
I can't get anyone to join my games anymore, it just times out. Now hosting buddy is integrated. Was the mouse interface just to easy? Was there a clamouring for multiplayer to only work with command-line? What year are we in!?!?!?

That means that your ISP (internet service provider) has exhausted the customer address pool and thus you can no longer forward ports as it's all now behind the ISP's firewall. Unfortunately it will keep happening as more and more people install internet at home. Had it happen to myself last year, after 10 years of no issues.
Your only option is the WormNAT2 plugin (linked above), unless you want to pay monthly fees for a dedicated IP.

The game is 20 years old, the fact we still get the off update and can play is a miracle in itself. How many other games that are this old still allow you any sort of MP?

Thanks. It seems to be working again. Though sometimes it still doesn't. That's progress I guess. Cheers! :HolyGrenade:
