Is this the best worms?

I played this on 360 and loved it so I kinda wanna get it on steam, but I was wondering is this the best worms or whats the best version all I played was this.

There are a bunch of resolution options, just pick the one that feels right to you and allows the interface to be a size you're comfortable with, it will work out (I have played on a 60" with 720p and it looks fine and it's easy to read).

It's worked fine for HD resolution for years. 4K would be a different question, but not the one asked. So, erm, no idea what the issue is.

you can just go to game options and there's literally a dropdown full of all of the resolution your graphics card/monitor supports

Again, never claimed it didn't. If you run very high resolution on a large screen it can make playing difficult due to lack of zoom and proper UI scale.

For example my 50" 4k TV the game works properly at any resolution (including 4K). The UI and scale of the map is designed for lower resolutions so playing at this resolution makes everything (especially the UI and text) VERY tiny.

Sizing down a couple of options works well (1080p on a 4k screen or 720p on a 1080p).

This only really applies to large displays like TVs, as a typical desktop monitor you're sitting closer and text isn't is easy to read when smaller.

But as mentioned, there are many to choose from and you can choose one that works well for your display.

Thanks for the heads up guys small text can be annoying but its not game breaking once I find out all the functions you guys have sold me on this version.

People like Worms Armageddon a lot, but i think reloaded (2 Armageddon) has a better artstyle, i did grow up with it so like, yeah

Btw if you want Worms 2 Armageddon on steam its called Worms Reloaded

Arguably all that followed had a better art style. That's what happens with GPU progression. It remains a 20-year-old game that is still supported and still has an active community though. I guess that will continue until operating systems begin to reject it. Which will be a crying shame.

Art style was improved, agreed.

Customization, gameplay, and physics have yet to be surpassed in any version beyond Armageddon (although I love the water physics in Revolution and wish they'd bring it back)

yes, this is the best Worms game, Ultimate Mayhem was my favorite before i played this, but its just an opinion

You probably played Worms2:Armageddon for 360, which is the same as Worms Reloaded for PC. Completely different game than this one - blame T17 for the horrible naming. But this game, Worms Armageddon, is definitely the best Worms game of the series.

For me it's my favourite Worms game, and I've played almost all of them. For the others I wouldn't say they're bad (well, except Worms 3D, I really didn't like that one) but there's always something a little off about them that causes me to prefer Armageddon.
