One other point: this game is far better than the one you remember (w2a) from playstation. Best in the series by far if you're okay with a more retro look and feel. The "2" in w2a is another casualty of Team17's misleading title gore.
Steam has built-in controller support for any game or program that you run through it. Launch Steam in Big Picture mode (the icon at the top right of the Steam window), then launch Worms Armageddon. Steam will automatically pick a controller configuration for you, unless you have controller support disabled in the options. You can press the Home button of your controller at any point to bring up the Big Picture menu, where you can remap keyboard keys to your controller as you please.
I personally use ControllerCompanion to remap the d'pad and face buttons to F-keys when L1 and R2 are held down. You don't have to miss out on hotkeys with a controller. And yes, I prefer keyboard, but I don't have one if I want to play on the go.
Are you okay there? Do I need to call you a doctor, or are you always like this?
You can use a controller but certain game schemes would be almost impossible as you really need the mouse and shortcut keys on a keyboard.
u were spot on mate, that's why i was asking, and what i was asking for lol, thx for the info, all things considered though it seems like a bit of a pain, not sure if i'll just get used to the key bindings etc, only way to work it out is to give it a whirl both ways i suppose eh.
Worms Armageddon is the best game in the series. Just learn to use the keyboard and mouse.
I personally found Worms Reloaded to be a great game and the better than Armegeddon. Nobody is saying buy it for $22, you can always find the game of the year version a lot cheaper throughout the year.
