How the hell do I play multiplayer with friends?!

I bought the game hoping to expect some fun with friends, but connecting to a game lobby is next to impossible. We've done everything we could think of. The hosting buddy crap seems to have died and the only website that seems to contain all useful information has died apparently. This game is impossible to play multiplayer. Is there any way to play with friends or did I just waste my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ money???

Hi, looks like you've hit a very bad timing. Throughout the past few hours, the hosting server has been under maintenance to recover from an error. The same server also hosts "the website" you were trying to access.
An hour after your post, HostingBuddy and some services went up again. However, work still continues to resolve the remaining issues. Various worms websites hosted on the server will be temporarily unavailable.
The server is hosted by the community, not by Team17. As such, it is provided to you on a voluntary basis. I understand your pain, though I can't give an estimate to the complete resolution (could be anything from a few hours to a day).

By the way, you don't need HostingBuddy to host a game. You can install the WormNAT2[worms.thecybershadow.net] plugin, and it will redirect all connections to you through the hosting server, so you can click "Host" as normal, without having to use any text commands. Installation is very simple and is described in WormNAT2.txt in the archive.
