Immediate crash when trying to place Subject Upgrade station

As title says, the moment I click to place down the station for upgrading the Companions, the game hard crashes back to desktop. Not sure what would be causing the issue. If it helps, I am trying to place it in the Super Drill Cabin.

Same, too bad when you try to place it after 1 hour or two without having saved.

Adding to this, it happens if you try to place it outside of the Super Drill Cabin, right at the starting area of Level 1.

This crash appears to be related to your language selection. If you change it to something other than English you can place and use the station but after switching back to English, the game will crash on loading a save. If you pick up the station then save the crash can be avoided.
