As far as I can see it's no more similar to Core Keeper than all the many farming sims are similar to Stardew Valley. :D Unlike Core Keeper this one has automation lines for crafting and npcs you can befriend and potentially do quests with. Lets wait and see how it turns out :)

Then you haven't looked too close. Most of the art and styling are the same. I'm not comparing Stardew Valley and Farming Simulator 23 levels of difference here.

Funny, I thought it looked like a better looking graphics version of Core Keeper lol. That character with the pick axe in the illustration is a proper Core Keeper clone though lol. I had to click the company to see if they had anything to do with them as this looks so similar at first glance. Looks well different in the 2nd half of the trailer though.

EDIT: Thought I would try the demo, 2 hours later...oh yerrrr. Core Keeper all over again. I am addicted, even more so as this has much more story. Which I am a sucker for.

I love the less pixelated graphics too especially on the characters. Love both games but I think this is going to be another hit for me!

Not at all. The graphics are way better. Its not a clone but a new game. I am looking forward for the release. Its certainly I game I am gonna play.

If graphics are the sole point of review upon your selection process of 'good games' then you're never going to play one.
Have fun playing, no skin off my bones. This is however, a clear cut ripoff. Spice it up with all the anime girls and bootleg alternate dimension nonsense you wish, but it's too close to the other one to not be a clone.

IMO it looks nothing like core keeper. The art style resembles more of dont starve together. Also there is nothing wrong with getting ideas from other games and building a new one.

In my opinion it looks everything like Core Keeper. If it was nothing like Core Keeper you wouldn't have to justify its similarity with the 'nothing wrong with getting ideas from other games' comment...in my opinion.
