Help with Weapons, Runes and Blessings
Hello. I am not good with balancing positive and negative runes to a weapon. I remember when I did it in the demo it resulted in the weapon feelin "off" so I opted to ignore the mechanic up until now, but I have just gotten into Thorax and the difficulty spike really put me off guard. I would appreciate any good weapon tips as well as to what runes to use as to mitigate the negative traits. I should mention that I gave the blacksmith 4 Cosm stones so the negative traits should be smaller now if I understood it right. Another mechanic I largely ignored until now are the blessings. Apart from unlocking the third blessing slot I have not upgraded any of them. I am currently using Blessing of the Healer, Blessing of the Acrobat and Blessing of the Giant Slayer. I am also missing two last blessings. I think I might find one in the Thorax but the final one I have either missed or its going to be a NG+ thing (my speculation). I would also be very gratefull for any blessings tips because now i have 33 points and I imagine they could make Thorax easier. Thanks you.

I was lost too, the way i did it i just let damage runes accumulate until i got the last upgrade with that dude outside, so he would make a perfect rune with lots of damage, or lots of impact since those are the most important imho. Since i used the eldritch sword, speed and agility didnt matter much, but i didnt let them get too low either.

Thanks for the reply. Any tips on blessings?

I always use health, stamina and a third one, i was going with the gun one because piercing shots and more impact helped a lot in fighting some late game enemies in the last area.
I only got the two shots too close to the end to really matter, but i used that to kill the first acolyte in NG+ without taking a hit, i just shot her to death using almost all the slugs i gathered in the previous game heehehe, kind of cheese, 4 shots and her guard was broken.
