Is there a point to leveling?

I just want to make sure if I do alot of leveling for my slimes, is there a point to them getting to a higher level before new areas? This may end up sounding dumb to anyone that knows the mechanics to this, but I don't, thus the thread.

This is a good question. You may use 1 item on any new slime. After that slime has gained 10 levels, it may use another item. At level 10, you may use 2 items on a slime. At level 20, 3 items. At level 30, 4 items, and so on. To answer the basic question, yes, it is to your advantage to level up your slimes as much as possible.

Giving your slimes more barriers and faster moving force will give you far more options when determining which enemies you want to absorb and claim. Those are just the 2 most common items. There are many other items that will open whole new possibilities to plan tactically for any battle-- and to prepare for the high difficulty in the late game.

Not only will leveling up your slimes help you to advance through the story, but using more items on your slimes will open more interesting ways to replay battles for plenty of replay value-- and even more leveling up for your slimes.
