(SPOILERS) Recruiting Marina but having Levi as party

wanted to know cause it's not said exactly how it works on the wiki: If you save and recruit Levi day one, have Henryk turn into gentleman and Kidnap Marina. Can you still recruit Marina into the party to do the glitch where you sleep in the manor bed and she's permament recruited? Or does she not even enter the party AT ALL if you have recruited Levi at any point? (or does it matter whether or not he's in the active party?)

There’s some misinformation floating around about how Marina’s recuritment works at the moment. While she can be kidnapped in the event of Henryk becoming the mayor, her being kidnapped is determined by whether or not the decrepit priest in the manor is alive in that scenario. If he’s dead, then she just goes to the book store instead. In the event she is kidnapped, she can atill be recruited if you got Levi, but you will not be able to see the event where she becomes recruitable again because it involves Levi not being recruited. In the event that Levi is your protagonist, Marina won’t leave the party.

As for whether or not the sleeping trick still works, I’m not actually sure but given the circumstances I’d say just try it if Marina does get kidnapped and load a previous file if it doesn’t work.

update: It seems like the the determing thing on whether or not she's kidnapped ISNT whether or not the decrepit priest s alive, BUT whether or not the room to the left of the ladder on the second floor is fully locked or not. If it's fully locked from both doors then it seems to trap Marina in there.

I slept and she hasn't left just yet but i didn't move out super far from the manor. Just into the sewers to head towards the city. But you can get her into the city gates a bit. Will try out more later. (Levi died so couldnt test if him being in party effects stuff lol)

This event is a mess to understand lol. My main take away though is that if you fully clear out the mayor's manor (which you definitely want to do), Marina will always go to the much less annoying bookstore recruitment route. Probably a change for the better since Marina is one of the better companions in the game and her being taken to the mayor was super annoying for most characters.

another update: did the sleep trick and i got through the rest of the game so in 1.9.1 sleep trick still works for Marina. cant tell if it works for the levi run though I may try that and update again another time
