What is "Rev up"? What does it do?

Rev up is a mechanic for empowering your physical attack and using certain spells. You accrue one rev point each turn that passes in battle, and there some abilities that enhance this or start you with more. Using one rev point increases the power of your next attack by 25% or so. I’m actually not too sure what the modifiers are for using 2 rev points, people give inconsistent figures and I don’t actually know if does anything over using 1 rev point. Using 3 points however, causes your character to launch 2 attacks instead of 1, with the previous rev bonuses applies to them.

As I said, some spells also have rev point costs. You just have to rev up the requisite number of times and you can use them. One last tip, on keyboard the W key is a shortcut for revving up, and the Q key let’s you rev down.
