Similar Dark Rpg(maker) Games?

I know some and played some. I like these kinds of games - dark, gritty worlds, increased difficulty and struggling to achieve greatness in a creepy world.
Black Souls series and Heart of Darkness are great recommendations from me(they do have much more advanced sexual content though lol). Also Revenant Prince, though there isn't as much difficulty and the community is pretty much dead.
What games would you recommend? Other than the first Fear and Hunger of course lol.

Black Souls series only beign available on english on fishy sites is a real tragedy.
Lisa the Painful has the whole trying to find hope in a misserable world thing, it also includes really impactful scenes (some even more creepy than F&H) and choices, and permanent debuffs applied to you, like losing your arm(s) or your party members permanently (which can also happen in combat).
It might not be RPGMaker, not even turn based, but Pathologic HD gave me an EXTREMELY similar vibe to F&H, from the cruel and scary yet eerie and comfy atmosphere, to the feeling and unforgiveness of gameplay and how you try to avoid it.
Both are great games and have niche but active communities (Lisa even has different fan base for each of its fan games), but Black Souls is the closest comparison imo (pathologic comes very close), so maybe waiting for Red Hood its your best option.

If you're Ok with the "18+ content", you can try LonaRPG. Not a RPG Maker game, but in the similar isometric 2d view. But beware, it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dark. And really hard too

LISA is the only one I can think of that comes close (Incredible RPG, I highly recommend it)

Hello Charlotte series, Yumme Nikki and OFF if you want something with a depressing/strange and dark atmosphere

Pathologic 2 is very good - don't be affraid of using difficulty sliders since default settings are overtly harsh for vast majority of players.

Also OMORI is great game with psychological horror undertones.

There's Re:Kinder that can be dark and gruesome I also second Omori if you like a game that is a split between lighthearted and dark. Not really a dark or creepy series but Hylics 1 & 2 are pretty strange unique games that take place in a strange world.

Safest would be directly from dlsite, though they wouldn't allow my credit card recently for whatever reason. As for yarr harr ways... most sites like sukebei nyaa have the first game. Second is a bit harder to get, especially the version with all free dlc. Otomi-games has a version but i dunno which one. The english fan discord of black souls will point you to the best download source.

For Blacksouls 2 it's the official translation with the DLCs, don't know for the first one
