General help with heads for the wretched being: Spoilers ahead

Hello i've met the wretched being that asked me for the woodsman and priests heads
Now i accidentally sacrificied the woodsman head so i'm locked out of the quest.
Did i miss anything crucial?

Also Marina disappeared right after joining my party (right after exiting the manor) where did she go??? is this a bug?

The latter is not a bug and you'll find out.

It protects against otherworldy damage which is the hardest damage type to protect against, on top of that its still better then not having any accessory at all, yea if you got meta knowledge it ain't that useful but on a first or second playthrough that defence can be the difference between you getting killed in a single turn.
