Inverse Crown spell

Anyone know the purpose of the inverse crown spell of All-Mer, when you use it you die on the spot, are there some condition for the spell?

I heard it's just a dumb joke. When i tried to use it outside of battle it made my sprite disappear and i could no longer open the menu but other than that i was 'alive'
Would probably crash HARD if i tried to trigger combat in whatever this state was

when i used it something like a mask covered the character's face and a dialogue said the character couldn't handle the pain and died.

It probably must be just a another silly joke from author but now with spells.

Tried it with 125hp and the character keeps glitching out so I assume it is just a joke spell.
