Fear & Hunger 2: Termina

Tips or guide for beginner?
I really suck at this game. I started 2 runs: In the first one I ended up in a sweat shop fighting a dude and trying to cut off the arm with the weapon, I ended up with no limbs and died. On the second one, On my way to the city I run into a guy with an axe that cut my limbs too in single blows. So, it seems I really dont understand how to play this game, but loving the graphics and atmosphere, so I would like to know the basics for now, at least.
Thanks in advance.

Either have fun learning the game or get Abella as your party member.
Abella is able to carry you throughout the game and I'd advise playing and trying to find it by yourself in Day 1 Morning 1.
And also, don't get to the same MAP as Henryk otherwise Abella is gone for good (Mansion Top Floor)

1- Get Abella
2- If in the same MAP as Henryk then restart
3- Pick any Character BUT ABELLA
4- Get Carried by Abella

Step 1- Pick Abella
Step 2 - Wrench toss
Step 3 - Profit

If you want some more serious tips, it's advisable to avoid combat as best you can until you have two party members, and even then always assume an enemy can kick your ass until you know exactly what it does. If an enemy has blades, assume it can delimb you and make taking the limbs that hold them out priority one. For tougher enemies, don't be afraid to run. Against some, it's perfectly valid to run, equip a rifle, and use the grace period where they just stand there to blast them twice and remove their arms, giving a very easy fight. I'd recommend finding a bonesaw as priority one so you can take enemy heads, and then trade those in for soul stone shards to make soul stones at the ritual pit in Old Town. Once you have 4 soul stones, you can usually pick up all the skills your character has and have more options in fights or on the field.

Thanks! finally a useful comment
Where and how do you get followers? I made it to the mayors manor as doctor and got a key but no one wants to join me, can you necromancy party members?

You cannot use necromancy on party members. Check the guide section for learning more about when/where you can recruit others.

Is there a reason why necromancy fails on villagers for me? It says their souls are too weak

You can only use necromancy on specific corpse. Namely, you can use it on the soldier corpse you find, and you can use it on Sickle villagers specifically. Any other villager type, the spell fails.

Also, don't cut off heads if you want to raise them. Won't work if the villager in question is a stumpy.

I am in the army bunker but only found 1 can of gasoline, I have basically killed the whole playable map and need 1 more key but I don't know how to proceed now (I play as the italian figther guy solo)
