I'd imagine so, since in canon he needs to survive so that he can become president of his company and sell you overpriced items on TV.

He feels like the most developed of the 6 currently unplayable contestants so I would assume so.

All contestants will be playable eventually. Orange held a poll, and I believe the current most popular contestants that people want are Tanaka, Pav, and August in that order. Presumably Orange is going to work from the top when adding new characters.

orange did a pool on twitter with few character names, he did not said anything about adding any of them to be playable in the game he just wanted to see the results and Tanaka won

The game is still being updated AFAIK. The reason there have been no recent updates is because the dev lost progress due to a hard drive crashing, I think...
